Wasn't that sobering!? My wife, a typical very polite, 105 lb, demure Canadian (we live in the US now) was on the grocery store at the height of the mask madness a couple years ago. Right in the middle of the story, she ripped off her mask, and said "I'm NOT doing this anymore."
I have all my facts lined up, and was JUST WAITING for someone to come up to her,. and I was going to BLAST THEM. Normally, people - even police intervening in domestic disputes - know that going after a man's wife is equivalent to a doberman growling, or a 12 gauge shotgun being racked. I.e., you have just been told "BACK OFF!" No one did, but I was ready. My main point is that most masks have holes about 80- 100 microns, the virus 0.1 micron. So, that idiot mask stops as much virus as a chain link fence stops a mosquito. Then, I briefly summarize the Porges issue on micro expressions, and **GO ON THE ATTACK*** letting them know THEY are destroying lives, and causing kids to commit suicide.
Also, our sheriff in DuPage County, IL. said he would not enforce the mask mandate. Anyhow stopping me, I would say "Fine. Call the police" - and I had the number ready on my phone for them to dial - I was never stopped but if I had been, I would have put in in their face and said. "Call. Call now." And then stare them down.
Rather than play defense, I go on offence. And the above should equip people to do the same. The late Christian rocker said 40 years ago "Why should the devil have all the good music? and developed Christian rock. I feel the same.
Excellent, just right. Offense is the best defense. I find the thing is if you are prepared in your heart to stand and fight on something people know in general not to challenge you. If you show fear they will attack.
I never wore a mask during the Covid nonsense but sadly my wife did despite my telling her it was pointless and kowtowing to the fraud.
I had to get angry with her and it did lead to a strange experience I will relate sometime although as good things came from it as God works all things together for the good of those who love Him,
In the UK the whole thing was always guidance anyway as per gov.uk website as I keep trying to tell people. Even in the US I suspect it was similar for those that had the wit to double check if they wished.
The average mask has holes of 80 - 100 microns. The virus is perhaps around 0.1 micron. Those masks have as much chance of stopping Covid as a chain link fence does mosquitoes
So while it would not be stopped by masks as you described, the problem is the medics/big pharma have taken something and twisted the truth about it before magnifying the lie out of all proportion.
As covid is the 'flu which is an internal poisoning it is pointless putting on a mask for that as it is rather like bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted.
Or maybe as useful as having a mask on a horse as seen here.

I have to say, if I haven't mentioned it before to you, that having been in hospital every 4 weeks for treatment in 2020 April/May without masks I knew the masks thing was silly. By June i understood what was going on re flawed viral theory anyway.
It became obvious early on also that the powers that be were teasing the masses by being thoroughly inconsistent with masks as if to say 'Who among you is intelligent enough to spot the deliberate mistakes'.
I did, and I find it difficult to comprehend why so many failed to see the blindingly obvious.
It's damaging physically too. Extended mask abuse can lead to lung cancer.
