And a cartoon I read decades ago had several Bezos, Gates, Soros types talking, with one saying to the other "First I thought it was sex, then money. But now I realize it is POWER."
Problem with this: I slept thru jr. high math class, but even I, myself, can do this math: You are going to be dead a WHOLE LOT longer than you will be alive, and many of these type now are, or soon will be (even if Kurzweil gets to add another 100 years to his life) in a literal - not figurative - Hell, that they freely chose out of their evil hearts.

Vitamin D is also discussed by former big pharma RPh Thomas Braun here in his Hello Sunshine! article, where he also cites Mercola’s Cheap nutrient/hormone that saves lives. Similarly, nursing professor John Campbell said by 2023 that the Vitamin D usage for Covid was “now conclusive… provides substantial benefit”; specifically, it cut death by 51% and admission to ICU by 72%, citing from the journal Pharmaceuticals article Protective Effect of Vitamin D Supplementation on COVID-19-Related Intensive Care Hospitalization and Mortality: Definitive Evidence from Meta-Analysis and Trial Sequential Analysis. Vitamin D may protect against COVID-19 by maintaining pulmonary barrier function, boosting the innate immune response and reducing the production of proinflammatory cytokines; in another study, NOT ONE of the patients with severe COVID-19 who received high-dose vitamin D died; instead, 100% of the group improved. Regulatory agencies around the world are largely industry-funded, which is likely why they aren’t recommending vitamin D. Mercola also had his own article on this in hsi October 31, 2020 Vitamin D review in peer-reviewed journal Nutrients. This article noted “The evidence seems strong enough that people and physicians can use or recommend vitamin D supplements to prevent or treat COVID-19." Said Dr. Campbell about the suppression of Vit. D by Big Pharma, Fauci, et al “Very, very safe interventions, like vitamin D, zinc — basically ignored. It really is a scandal. A total scandal. Absolute disgrace," Campbell says. The study in Pharmaceuticals said "COVID-19 is characterized by high levels of inflammatory markers, including C-reactive protein (CRP), and increased levels of inflammatory cytokines and chemokines. In this sense, various data have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory properties of vitamin D, in addition to the importance of vitamin D for bone health, as well as its role in extra-skeletal function." Science journalist Simon Goddek, Ph.D., tweeted, about this: "What happens if you administer high doses of Vitamin D to severe COVID-19 patients? They simply won't die, as this study shows.” Scientific Reports, published in Nature, in Association between vitamin D supplementation and COVID-19 infection and mortality also showed a positive association between Vit. D and positive Covid outcomes. Johns Hopkins University, the University of Chicago and the Department of Veterans Health Affairs conducted a large-scale pharmacoepidemiologic study, involving 220,265 patients supplementing with vitamin D3 before and during the pandemic, 407,860 untreated patients. Those taking vitamin D3 had a 20% lower risk. Death from COVID-19 was also lower among those taking vitamin D — 33% lower among those taking vitamin D3; they then wrote in the Nature article “Vitamin D deficiency has long been associated with reduced immune function that can lead to viral infection. Several studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency … increases the risk of infection with COVID-19." The study said “In response to these findings, physicians might consider regularly prescribing vitamin D3 to patients with deficient levels to protect them against COVID-19 infection and related mortality. The 50,000 IU dosage may be especially beneficial.”
The Scientific Reports study extrapolated their vitamin D findings to the entire U.S. population in 2020, they found supplementation with vitamin D3 would have prevented 4 million COVID-19 cases and 116,000 deaths. Why is that flagged as “misinformation” by the fake fact checkers, who tell us, like the U.K.'s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) wrote: "Do not offer a vitamin D supplement to people solely to prevent COVID‑19, except as part of a clinical trial…Based on direct evidence from the NICE evidence review and indirect evidence from the SACN [Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition] rapid review of vitamin D in acute respiratory tract infection (which did not include COVID‑19 as an outcome), the panel agreed that there was not enough evidence to recommend vitamin D supplements solely for preventing COVID‑19." Maybe not enough evidence for those bought out by Big Pharma, that is. Here’s the real problem, in two words: Regulatory capture. To wit from Dr. Campbell:
Adds Campbell about this co-opting of the departments who were supposed to help us: “Now, why is this not being used despite the definitive evidence … why is it not being advised? Why is it not being shouted from the hilltops? … Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Authority in the United Kingdom is 86% industry-funded. Of course, they have no vested interest. This is the national body that represents medicine … throughout all of the United Kingdom, and it's 86% industry-funded. Coincidentally, vitamin D, which is basically free — it's dirt cheap — and is essentially completely safe is not recommended. Other interventions, which are associated with high levels of risk are recommended … When is this going to be addressed? This is outrageous."

Fake news CNN, up to their usual misinformation, wrote May 27, 2022 an article noting Vitamin D supplements “can hurt a lot,” noting that a toxic buildup – or hypercalcemia - of D can hurt kidneys, heart rhythm, create toxic calcium buildup in one’s blood, etc. Of course, they were too ignorant to note how much is too much, nor whether supplementing with D2 or D3 was the problem. The real problem is that hypercalcemia is caused when you are low in Vitamin K2. Mercola notes that “reviews of published trials have demonstrated there are no toxicity symptoms — including hypercalcemia — at dosages up to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 per day, even when used long-term,” and that those that did have hypercalcemia or Vitamin D toxicity were taking from 3.6mm to as much as 210mm IUs anywhere from one to four months, or 30,000 IUs/day at the very lowest, and ranging much, much higher. The British Institute of Microbiology and NGO Institute of Medicine's National Academies' Food and Nutrition Board the pushed for much lower levels, based on bone health only, of 600 IUs for anyone over the age of 4, and 800 IUs for those over 70; unfortunately, in this day of “math is racist,” the idiots at IOM recommendations were found to be off by a factor of 10 by as reported by Science Daily in 2015, as well as by the journal Nutrients.
In sum, Vitamin D, really a hormone, is critical for health. Wise supplementation, if you are not getting enough sun, may be in order not only for Covid, but for general health.
Turns out God created the sun for a reason. Use it.
